The box was damaged when shipped and two parts are damaged. But besides that good ride.

I got this bike yesterday. So far it's a good bike but I do have a couple of complaints.When it came it the back bar is bent. It also came in with a busted pack of screws so I'm missing one.The resistance wheel works but it does squeak at certain lvls.Definitely have to buy a gel seat cover. One 40 min ride and now it hurts to sit down.

Just got the bike today. Hubby put it together and did 6.5 miles. Amazing bike. Great price. Only negative is that when you stop pedaling so does your bike. I'm so used to my road bike and when I stop you could still pedal backwards and the tires would still go... not this one. Once you stop, the bike stops. Just something I have to get used to.Like the fact there's an odometer to track miles, time, speed and calories. Nice and quiet too! Telling my mom about it.

I’m new to cycling. The bike does the trick. I get a good work out. Seat is very uncomfortable. Had to buy a gel seat cushion to make riding bearable. The box was in terrible shape and caused damage to the bike. Even though the bike has wheels, it’s still hard to move because the wheels don’t spin very well.

Day one has been a great experience. Setup was relatively easy and the bike rolls around house with ease. Workouts are quiet so far.Only negative is my bike arrived cracked and I was NOT going to disassemble the bike and repack the box so I’m stuck with it I guess...?I wish there was some way to get money back for the damage...

We purchased this instead of paying over $1000 for some other bikes. It’s been used two to three times a week for the past 15 months and every rider is under 200lbs. Today while in use riding at the left pedals shaft completely snapped off. I honestly didn’t recall seeing this in the reviews but it appears it’s been a small problem since I purchased in 2019. Sunny has great customer service and is sending me an upgraded model. Will absolutely buy sunny products again!

Comes almost fully assembled. Quiet smooth ride. I use it in our home gym daily for the past 2 mo while I zone out and watch tv. Get an hour of biking in with out even realizing it. My one complaint and the loss of a star is the seat height adjustment. I use it, my wife and my 2 sons. We all need a diff height and it just doesn’t adjust easily, very hard to move and requires unscrewing the bolt all the way. Wish it had an easy adjust knob etc. otherwise great bike at a good price.

Arrived a day early! Heavy, well packaged box.Assembly was a breeze and took me about 45 mins in no rush. The instructions were clear as day. A large portion of the bike is already assembled. You just put on the pedals, seat, and handlebars really. All of the tools you need are included, even batteries for the monitor! I haven't had a ride yet, but the structure seems very sturdy so far.Few dings and scratches. Box arrived slightly damaged and upside down, but I don't think that contributed to the slight cosmetic defects noted in the pictures. I'm not going to raise hell over it considering the price I paid.The tablet shown is an 8" Samsung. The tablet holder on the handlebars is just a shelf. There is nothing to secure the tablet to the shelf, so I purchased a swivel tablet holder from Amazon as well.

Caught this for $279 on sale and jumped at it. I'm an avid road biker than normally transitions to the local YMCA for numerous spinning sessions. With COVID running wild, this is perfect for my home use. It has all of the essential features, without shelling out $2500 + for a Peloton. The assembly was a breeze. It's very quiet, smooth, and comfortable. I used my own SPD pedals and might change out the seat to one of my old road bike seats. Not sure yet, as the supplied seat wasn't bad! A back light for the monitor would be handy but I rely more on my phone app using Wahoo. It doesn't have a cadence feature but that was easy to solve with a $20 sensor from Moofit that mates with my app.

It was delivered 2 days early which was nice, especially considering it’s difficult to find affordable spin bikes in stock right now!I haven’t used it yet. But, I’m not particularly handy and I was able to assemble it by myself. The directions were very easy to understand and follow. I did have an issue with one of the screws for the bottle holder being screwed in so tight that I’m unable to remove it in order to properly install the water bottle holder, but it installed tight enough with just one of the screws thankfully. Otherwise, assembly was a breeze and it feels really sturdy. My tablet fits perfectly in the device holder. I liked that it included a device holder and a display that includes RPMs because it saved me from having to buy cadence monitor and device holder. I’ll update if I have any issues after actually riding it.

Here is my review from construction and first use.First thing you should know, is to bring your own tools. Don’t bother using the given items. You will need an adjustable wrench, 14 and 17mm sockets, a 6mm Allen wrench,and a Phillipshead screwdriver. Assembly is easy enough with clear directions. Quality build.Literally step 1, the very first Allen screw I tried to unscrew on the shipping base broke the supplied Allen wrench. Made me laugh but since I’m a grown up, I went and got my own tools before I went any further.I’m 6’1” and 180# and this bike fits me and allows me to fully extend my legs. The flywheel is heavy which supplies smooth rotation. The applicable resistance is highly sensitive (good thing) and allows variable resistance depending on my workout.I have a bony butt but this seat really isn’t too uncomfortable that I will be purchasing a new one, or placing my road bike seat on this machine.Going through a single workout I can see myself using this very often when my son goes to sleep. It’s super quiet, even with high resistance.I have this a 4 out of 5 stars to start because of the water bottle holder being out of reach for me (too low), but for the price (less than $200 on a daily deal) and shipped to me the next day after the order I shouldn’t complain.

I bought this bike for my wife because she loves spin classes. We looked into purchasing a PELETON bike but they are above our price range. She purchased a monthly subscription to the Peleton app for $12/month (which you still have to with a peleton bike) and uses her bike 3-5 times a week. She is 5'6" and I am 6'1" 190lbs. It can easily take my weight and force. Our whole set up is a third of the price and works great. We added a speed bike seat and an ipad holder.Pros:1) PRICE!2)Durability, I haven't had to tighten or make any adjustments to the bike after 6 months of use and nearly 300 hrs of ride time.Cons :1) the saddle is too large2)the saddle height adjustment bar wobbles even while at firm adjustment to the locking mechanism. Bike was delivered on time (in fact within 20 minutes of the delivery window starting) and box was in excellent condition. It is v. heavy - so I asked the delivery person if they could bring it in to where I was going to set it up and he kindly did that for me. Unpacking was very easy. The picture above is all the parts after unpacking so it is not very complicated. Directions were very easy to follow. There is no video about set-up unlike some of the other Sunny models - so I used one that was closest to this model and watched it before starting and then at key points. Sunny really needs to make a assembly video for all of its models. It took about 20 minutes to unpack (very carefully and slowly) and about an hour to assemble by myself. It rides very smoothly. The only thing I am having difficulty with is the seat - I guess my arm strength isn't as powerful as needed in tightening the two seat bolts. It is something I am going to have to check before each ride since it was slightly moveable before I got on and then loosened during a ride and I slid off backwards. Sunny has free biking videos on their youtube channel so I am able to have the experience of a class without leaving the house.

I was an avid spinner and took classes at my gym until they suddenly shut down on me. I need my daily cardio, and running on pavement everyday is really too much for my joints so I figured I'd just buy my own spin bike. Unlike ellipticals and treadmills, spin bikes don't require extra electricity (my house doesn't have much more wattage power to spare), and don't require huge amounts of space. They are also low impact (great for joints) and run much more quietly than other cardio machines.I was going to buy the chain drive bike for a slightly cheaper price until last minute I saw someone's Youtube video of them actually riding a Sunny brand chain drive. I could hear the sound of the chain going, which wasn't excessively noisy, but it bothered me enough to change my mind last minute to buy the belt drive model instead, which I've heard is much quieter. I'm glad I did. There is no sound at all except for a slight whooshing sound, from the brake pad rubbing against the wheel. It's very quiet and doesn't bother me at all since it's not a mechanical sound, more of just like a.... natural wind-kind of sound. The ride feels extremely smooth, both during low-resistance sprints, and during very high resistance climbs. I also like the idea of the belt drive over the chain drive because I don't want to have to keep oiling the chain/conditioning it over time since I believe chains require maintenance.Assembly is surprisingly simple. It took me and my dad less than an hour to put it together, and I probably didn't even need his help (he mostly just helped with carrying the heavy part from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor). All necessary tools are conveniently included. Most of the bike is already pre-assembled and seems pretty sturdy, considering this price range. The resistance knob allows you to add/remove resistance gradually. I've had issues with spin bikes at gyms where I'd turn the knob 1/8th of a turn, and it'd go suddenly from an easy downhill ride to an impossible climb straight away, instead of a gradual slow increase. I'm typically used to riding in a more narrow seat and was surprised at how wide this seat was. Some people may find this more comfortable, but I did not. I guess I have a narrow hip width (?) because the width of the seat is too fat for me and caused me chafing in the inner thighs, right by the groin area. I tried to move the seat as far back as I could, so I'd be seated on the most narrow portion of the seat (to reduce it rubbing against my inner thigh-groin area) but the knotches/shape of the metal bar didn't let me push it back any further. My solution to this was just to take the metal bar out, and re-insert it backwards (shown in my photo) so I could push the seat back an extra 1-2 inches. This repositioning still allows me to screw the knob into the latch/hole, so it's locked in for safety. Felt much more comfortable.The computer/clock was not an important factor to me but it was nice to have the timer on hand for intervals, and it conveniently came with its own batteries so I gave it a go. I did 1 ride for about 60 minutes and it worked great. The next day it wouldn't turn on at all. I assume this computer is not waterproof, and perhaps my pouring sweat broke the machine. I wish it had come with some sort of not-waterproof warning so I couldve covered it with something... :( The handle bars are shaped in a way so if you have an ipad, you can lean it there and watch things. I only have an iphone, which i put in a small ziplock bag (to protect from my sweat) and take a rubber band and attach it to the middle handlebars and watch spin videos as i ride. Perfect!Overall I really like this bike and would definitely recommend to others looking for a simple spin bike in this price range. You can do all the traditional spin class moves on it, it is very very quiet (no rattling, no mechanical sounds, and more quiet than the chain drive models), very smooth-feeling ride, assembly is pretty simple. If the computer/clock is important to you, beware--it's not waterproof so keep it dry.UPDATE (4-5 MONTHS LATER):The bike still serves it's function well, which is to give me a good workout and the resistance/brake/pedals all still work fine. Nothing has broken or fallen apart on me. (I use the bike about 5-7 hours total/per week, moderate-heavy resistance) However I didn't realize that all my sweating over it would cause many of the screws all over the bike, and various other exposed metal parts to start rusting. I tried to oil those rusted parts with "3-in-1 multpurpose oil" to prevent further damage but the bike seems to need constant greasing. (if anyone can suggest something better, feel free to comment) Also, my bike has started to squawk. The type of noise varies. Sometimes it happens only when i use very heavy resistance and it's literally a very loud deep SQUAWWWK. Sometimes it's a lighter-sounding SQUEEK. Sometimes it happens only on the left pedal stroke. FIrst of all, unless something is perfect, I never give 5 star reviews. Than being said, this is a really good home spin bike. Me and my wife studied dozens of different brands and models across a wide array of pricing. Based of what we considered honest and unbiased reviews, we settled on this Sunny SF-B1423 Model with the 40lb Flywheel at only $252.00 here on Amazon. Hoping it would be at least ok, turns out this Sunny bike is better than we thought. I kept this for myself and bought her a more expensive connected bike so she can get on the interactive spinning apps.PROS: Well built solid frame that even me at 6'1", 240lbs feels locked in with no shaking or bike wobbling. The bike looks and feels way more expensive than what it costs. Everything seems well constructed (except the LCD monitor...) Smooth quiet flywheel. I am still impressed with how relatively quiet this inexpensive exercise bike is. At normal speeds you can't hear it more than a few feet away. Resistance works great....I get a great workout off this thing and I am nowhere near maxing this machine out. Some people like levers to change the resistance but the resistance knob on this one is pretty good. The bike seat and handlebars are ergonomic and adjusts to a variety of sizes--Everyone in the family has ridden it and it accomodates to people of all sizes.CONS: Not bluetooth or Antenna connected. (If you don't need that interactive stuff, no problem). LCD display that comes with it is basically useless as it has a funky interface and doesn't have RPM/Cadence. You will need to spend $30 or so to get you a cheap bike computer or affixable device that gives RPM/Cadence so you can ride along with the Peloton, iFit or Zwift app on your smartphone, tablet, or TV. When you get in the higher resistance levels the noise level does go up, however, I did not find it nowhere near as bad as some of the others have claimed. One annoying thing is that the knobs to lower, shift, and raise the seat/handlebars work fine but take a bit to adjust—Slows you down when switching from person to person. Lastly, definitely not a huge issue but the dolly wheels are too small and makes moving this heavy bike on carpet a little cumbersome.There you have it....A good Home Spin Bike for Price. I recommend it. No, It's not a Peloton or a Echelon but it's pretty good for approximately $250. If you don't want to go broke on a Spinning bike and you don't need RPM/Cadence then I believe this is probably the best home spin bike for the price on the market.

I like this bike quite a bit. The assembly was easy. To get it inside, I had to take it out of box. This made it easier to take the main body of the bike around corners and upstairs. The part went together fairly easily and intuitively. The friction resistance works well and quietly (slight whooshing sound, but that is to be expected). I choose this bike as first exercise bike over magnetic resistance for the cost, but also the ease of maintenance, as you can change the friction pad after it wears down and I have no idea how to fix a magnetic resistance. It rolls smooth when you get going. The cages hold my feet secure and adjust easily. The resistance is easy to use and adjust quickly (important when you are out of breath). The seat is okay, but that is subjective. I wish it had a skinner seat and my wife likes the one it came with. The biggest problem I had was the adjustment for bike fit. Most of the adjustment points work well. The seat height and handlebar adjustments give me no problems and make it easy to dial in the fit off the bike. The forward-backward (fore-aft) adjustment is another story. While putting it together, the bar went in no problem. However, when I decided to ride and needed to determine my settings, the fore-aft adjustment was very difficult to use. I had to bang on it to get the seat bar to move forward and backward. I removed it and examined the place the bar inserts into, and found no obstructions. I applied some oil to the post and put it back in. I still am having difficulty moving it to the correct position. This is not a big problem as my wife and I use the same setting, but I wish it worked better.So far I have ridden for about 80 miles this past month, and have had no issues. One of the nice features is the brake function to be able to stop the wheel at the end of a ride, instead of having to ride out. It would have been nice to have forward and back adjustment on handlebars, but not available until a much more expensive price point. I love the tablet holder, holds secure and at good angle. $200 is not much for a bike and this one has good features. I use it to do virtual distance challenges and it works great for that. I am a big rider and I don't stand up in the pedals a lot. I can do it, but I don't tempt fate for pedal breaks. Not saying you can't but I have had a bad experience on my outdoor bike. That said, when I stand up in the pedals, they feel sturdy. The whole bike is really sturdy and does not move even in the most demanding riding. If you need to move it, the front wheels work well and it is not too difficult. Overall, this is a quality bike so far. I will update later on down the road. I did not get a discount or any kind of incentive for this review.Update: 12/14/2021Couple hundred miles on this bike. She is a smooth riding machine, that roams the land of "Only Uphill", looking for excuses and sweat to feed on!! I like the smooth action of the weighted flywheel and the way that the pedaling technique flows out of my feet without having to try. Pulling on the upward motion often feels like effort on other bikes, but my little War Pig makes it feel natural. The swoosh sound of the resistance is minimal, and doesn't disturb others. I have swapped out the beach cruiser seat for a road bike seat. I also added a Sunny brand phone holder (wonderful addition, don't believe the negative reviews on it). Once riding fit is adjusted, this bike feels good. Not like others where you are fighting for reach or pedaling cadence. The computer is a simple operation that gives enough info to tell me what is up. I don't really require a flight simulator's worth of info, just the time function to know when to start the effort and when to back off. The holder keeps my tablet steady. Speaking of steady, this bike has not rocked or shifted or moved in anyway other than to do what I want. Solid. I will keep updating.
