It lacks a 5 star because the tension is all about the same. I put it on the lowest,1, and it’s still a tight tension. Another thing is I need to be sitting higher to be able to get into that motion. Happy with purchase.

This is very good for the elderly people. Although caution should always be observed. Close Supervision is necessary when used by the elderly and provide assistance. For those who would use this in a standing position, for your safety, make sure that you hold on to something so you won’t lose your balance and to avoid accidents

There isn’t a thing I don’t LOVE about this thing. It’s quiet, sturdy, comfortable and makes me break a sweat. First week using it. Love, love, love!Note: first impression was that the thing is heavy.. lol but I’m not going to carry it around. But I get that it is part of sturdiness and quality built. All and all I love it and will be sharing link with friends and family that might have a use for it.I’ve tested it in sitting and standing positions. Both are phenomenal in my experience.

Updated 2/25/2021Ended up returning the elliptical not because there's anything wrong with it but because there's something wrong with me! I have bad ankles and this elliptical made them hurt. My guess is that it's because of the small stride because a full size elliptical never bothered my ankles. Re-boxing and returning the item was easy. My refund was issued as soon as I dropped it off at the drop off location.Original ReviewHave had this product for one week now and this is my review of it at this point. Will update if anything changes.I purchased this particular elliptical because I live in a tiny basement apartment, about 300 sq ft, and have no room for a full size elliptical. This one fits nicely in the space next to my dresser. The video in the ad shows the woman effortlessly putting this elliptical on a shelf. This unit weighs 25 lbs. I can lug it around but not carry it around easily. I suggest lifting something that weighs 25 lbs to get a realistic idea of how heavy it will be.As expected, this unit has a very small stride. Thats fine for me because I'm only 5 ft tall with short legs. A tall person might not like it.It took a few tries to get my rhythm right so it was smooth pedalling. But after some practice (and reading the instructions! LOL) I can now keep it going. You have to put your feet at the front of the pedals if you're using it standing up, and make sure the unit is turned so that the handle is to the back. You should be able to read the display while you're standing on it. If the display is upside down, it's turned the wrong way. I included a picture of the instructions for that.I am not coordinated enough to use this elliptical without holding on to something. Maybe someday. It works perfect to put my kitchen chair in front of it. I like to set it up in front of the door so I can bird watch while I'm pedalling. I thought about returning this elliptical and purchasing another one made by the same company that has handles but takes up the same floor space. It also has a larger stride. It costs $30 more. I'm still thinking that through.Overall, this product is well made and serves it's purpose well as long as you don't expect it to perform like the big ones at the gym. Would recommend.

Kim- it’s not really “free”

This machine is great for the days that I am unable to catch my breath but still want to work out. I can sit and pedal and still do alternate tasks, It is pretty bulky, but does fit under my desk with plenty of room to work the legs.It is really easy to setup, and start using it has an app where you can do select workouts, the remote is handy especially if you have trouble reaching your feet. There is a spot in the middle where I store the plug and the remote when not in use but otherwise this is a part that you can grab to carry the unit to another location. It is defiantly a great build quality, and for the price under $200 at the time of this review I think this is great tool for starters, or even for people such as myself that struggle with asthma but still need to keep in shape.

It’s not as easy as it looks, but I’m determined to learn it in to get it!

If you're on carpet, it's not great but nice for solid flooring. It was too wobbly on carpeted flooring.

Dale Seabridge

Does what it’s suppose to but it is very loud.

It’s works as deceived but after having it less than a month it makes a squeaky noise when using it.

It feels slightly awkward when sitting sometimes, but overall great value and useful device. Greatly appreciate that it came in one piece and ready to go.

J

Nice concept, but very hard 2 move while sitting, which was the whole purpose of the purchase. Instructions not very clear.

Difficult to find balance to use standing. Needs support to safely stand and cycle.

Great for fitness at home make sure you can balance though and it’s a little hard on my bad knee but overall great piece of fitness equipment.

Considering the price, it works. Best used sitting. You could stand if you have good balance, but stride is a bit short and a bit awkward.

I like that this comes fully assembled. It's not like a gym elliptical, but it works. I had it for over a week until I actually worked out for an hour. Short strokes, but works during Covid-19 and my gym being closed. Now that I can balance on this I use it everyday for an hour or 1.5 hours.

I find it very hard to use this standing. It’s not easy to get a clean cycle, to move smoothly as if running on a traditional elliptical. I find it more effective from a seated position and really enjoy using it like that. It has become extremely squeaky after only a few weeks of use. I was very happy it came already assembled and was packaged perfectly. I’d suggest it!

It arrived in a timely manner! Even though I recently received it, I am already up to 2 miles per day & that is saying something! Looking forward to raising the resistance & getting up to 10 miles every day! Well worth the money!!!

My wife and I like it. Its heavy but easy to move around. We have bed raisers so it fits under the bed (Watch your toes cause it hurts!) Practical display, heavy duty construction. It looks like its going to last a lifetime. Very easy to use in the seated position. However, for my wife its very difficult in the standing position even though we follow instruction to invert it. I thought I was going to fall to at the begining to!

This is heavy duty, smooth, quiet, portable. It's heavy yet good quality, and I love being able to use sitting or standing, keeping in mind the elliptical range of motion is considerably small as it's not gym size. There is a tension knob, however, it's mostly light or tighter tension. I watch music playlists on TV while using, and also while working at my desk. I also plan on using outside in good weather on my decks!

C

This is a great little machine. I was hoping it would be longer so that the strides are larger so that was disappointing. If you use it sitting it needs to be on a non slip mat or carpet. It just slides around on hardwood floors.

D
Denise Lundy

Its a great compactness, adjustability, build quality product. Great for exercises.

I LOVE most things about this machine. Pros: mostly quiet, stays in place, fits well under my desk, great quality for the price, and helps a lot with keeping me moving during the day -- which can be tough due to my back injury. My biggest complaint is that the monitor is upside down, and if you try to flip it around the machine makes a horrible clanking noise. So if I want to check my stats (distance, calories burned etc) I have to turn the monitor around, and then turn it back to continue pedaling. Kind of annoying, but given the price I'm willing to deal with it. Otherwise the machine is great so far (only had it a couple days) and I'm really pleased with it.

I can see how this elliptical machine can be useful and effective. It's relatively easy to move around, and you can take it with you if you travel. That said, it does put a lot of stress on the knees. Because of the forward motion, much of the energy vines from just above the knee. I'm not completely out of shape, but after only 5-7 mins, I could feel the stressed on my knees, and it wasn't a good pain. Matter fact, I continued to have pain for about an hour after. I think past of that is do to the short step length, you don't have the longer strides of a traditional elliptical. Again, not a bad piece of equipment, but strenuous on the knees. Good luck.

Works well. GREAT slow speed for my dad. The remote functions but buttons are way too close together for older people trying to point the thing down to operate. Namely the play/pause button. I bought a learning remote with larger buttons for my father and its much better.

It works good. As long as you u used it.

I have always wanted an eliptical and having put on weight during epidemic thought now was a good time to get one. The compactness appealed to me as I am looking to move in the near future and have been trying to consolidate. Should it go the way of most treadmills, this would store easier and not turn into an oversized laundry rack. It is heavy, which is good as you do not want it moving beneath you when standing. At first i had issues with it jumping under me, but ceased when i replaced a rug with a yoga mat. The only other thing to note would be that it does not have a very long stride, please note I am 5'. I got this over other compact models because it does have a longer stride. While it is suiting my purpose for now and I do not regret the purchase, I do forsee getting a regular machine once I settle into a new home and would perhaps put this one to use as a seated machine.

Nancy-Sonja Jacobs

Had hoped for a wider stride, but it works.

Works …but included booklet does not include any directions for using or explain symbols used on control or remote…Update ! After emails the company eventually replied and sent me instructions via email…
