Although it comes in a large box (22 x 43 x 12 inches, 56 x 109 x 30 cm), much of the packages is, as you would expect, protective packing. Once taken out, the rowing machine is sleek, and doesn’t take up nearly as much space as I at first thought.As other reviewers have noted, the levels of increasing resistance is, arguably, unnecessary. It’s like a bicycle with 24 gears – the differential between two adjacent levels is marginal. But those levels are there should you need them.Never having used a rowing machine before, I was quite surprised at just how good a workout it gives. The rowing action ensures you are using all your major muscle groups, which means you are going to burn a lot of calories in quite a short time, depending on the resistance level set. And once you get yourself into a rhythm, you’ll burn even more without realising it. It’s very convenient, then, that the machine will display an estimate of calories burned, together with distance and time.I am very impressed with the machine. Even though it is quite expensive, those keen on keeping fit may well find it hits the sweet spot.

Out of the box this is easy to put together and it folds up really well to save space. The seat moves smoothly and there's a simple screen to give you details such as calories, distance and 'difficulty level'Using it is really simple and although it has levels there's not much difference between the small steps. As mentioned before use is really smooth and it'll give you a good workout.You can connect it up to certain fitness apps through bluetooth to keep your rowing data.Overall, a very good home rowing machine.

Great machine for beginners and those who want to burn some calories.There are resistance levels which are not needed as you won't feel any difference between levels 1, 2, 3, 4 but you will feel the difference between 1 and 5. What I'm saying is that the machines having 10 or 15 levels are as good as this one.Level is just about hard, so you won't get any strength workout, but it is enough for a daily cardio.The machine looks sleek and it doesn't take too much space when kept upright by the wall.Overall good value for money.

This equipment was easy to assemble. Good smooth rowing action. Value for money.

While most rowing machines now have a standup option to save space, this one feels a little more streamlined for those tight on space. It certainly feels slimmer to my old rowing machine which is far more bulky.I agree with other reviewers that the settings didn't quite make any sense, the step up for every 5 settings is about right but would correspond directly to the number of settings available on my old rowing machine which has only 6, so it does feel like the number of settings is for display purposes.It's size is it's main feature, there is other options (like my old rowing machine) half the price, but this one is slimline and newer.
