Elliptical Magnetic Resistance Cross Trainer Machine

Bought it for my mom. She really likes it and so far we have not had any issues. I assembled it myself and it was not that hard. I read all the instructions carefully. All the parts were labeled except the first 2 parts the stabilizers so had to look at the picture to figure which one is the front or back one. The most difficult part for me was step 2 installation of the tension cable and it seems I did not do it correctly because the dial does not turn all the way to the maximum of 8. I did not feel like taking things apart so i left it that way since it is ok for my mom she doesn’t need it to be at the highest level. Everything else is ok and pretty quiet. It is the size we wanted because it does not take up a lot of space. I sometimes use it and I enjoy it too! It is exactly what we were looking for.

Just received the product, will update review after using it more.For reference, I am a 5'4 female about 150lbs.Pros so far:- one of the easiest products I've ever assembled, took me about an hour to put together by myself; pieces are clearly labeled left and right- fits perfectly in my 1 bedroom apartment and is easy to move- relatively quiet and stays balanced even on carpet, however I can forsee some squeaking happening over time- display and modes are easy to use and read, just wish it had a backlightCons so far:- stride; would probably not recommend for someone much taller than myself, especially if you have a longer stride. I have some knee problems and if the stride were any shorter I would be unable to use the machine without causing pain- unable to "run" as fast as I would like, mainly due to the stride issue- while it is possible to back pedal, it's very awkward and I wouldn't try it very muchAll in all, the product does what I'm looking for for the time being. I am able to get a decent workout and work up a sweat from the comfort of my living room.

The box this bike ships in is heavy. I’m a woman. I managed to get it in the house and in the room I wanted alone, but I wouldn’t recommend that. It should be a team lift. Be careful removing it from the box. It has several large staples that could cut your hands. Parts of the assembly process were a nightmare, like connecting the tension cable. It’s not long enough to assemble easily. Some of the paid assemblers are probably skipping this part to avoid damaging the machine. It’s definitely a design flaw. You could use an extra set of hands for that part. Read the instructions. The left pedal has to be tightened counter clockwise. Some parts came pre-lubricated, so I had to keep stopping and cleaning my hands. Some of the stickers were a chore to remove also. Wish I had some ‘goo gone.’ I hope this elliptical is worth the trouble of putting it together. I paid about $150 with tax, but I noticed the price keeps inching up. I wouldn’t pay more. I’ve only used it once, and it was a little hard on my knees because I’m tall. It was a better ride with shoes vs without. There was a slight wobble, but it’s a small machine. The weight limit is 220 lbs. It was quiet and sturdy for the price. I think this machine is too small for a man. I think the average guy is too heavy for this bike. Overall it does get my heart rate up, so I’ll keep using it.

My wife is recuperating from back surgery and wanted to have something that could provide a low-impact workout that wouldn't be too difficult for her to use considering her condition. This model really fits the bill. It isn't the same quality that you would find at the gym but that said, it is an overall good machine and comes at a very reasonable price. It only took a little over an hour for me to assemble. As some of the other reviews state, the instructions lost a little something in translation but a little common sense goes a long way. Also, the tools provided don't allow you to get enough torque to really tighten things down so I broke out my socket set and gave everything an extra turn or two. So far I haven't heard any of the squeaks that others have mentioned. This elliptical definitely wasn't designed for taller people with long strides but that's ok, my wife only goes about 5' 2" so the motion is perfect for her. It seems a little choppy to me but I'm closer to 6'. It gets my blood pumping though and that the point. All things considered we are very satisfied with our purchase.

This machine is a great size, not obtrusive as my full size. BUT: this is a much shorter step stred, probably half again the distance of a standard machine. I's OK with me, I am not on quest, just want to firm up and this seems a lovely way to go about it without bothering anyone. It was tricky to put together. Things like which way the screw, ring or bolt or whatever is facing in or out made me crazy. But it was well marked in about an 8 font. If you go one dedicated step at a time and not forget to read every single thing it can be done in about 2 hours. It took me about 3 weeks and one neighbor with a friend.

The diagram to put this thing together is horrible. I was able to put it together myself though. It's compact and make little to no noise but does move about the floor if you get going to quickly. The sensors to read your heart rate seem to think I am my heart barely beats (55 bpm) even when my Fitbit says 140; so take those readings with a grain of salt. Overall I would say it's a good little machine.

I have to admit that I was skeptical...but after a month of nearly daily use, I am convinced. This was a good purchase. True, it has a short stride and after having used a full-size elliptical trainer (such as you would find in a fitness center), I did have to adjust to this smaller, more compact model. However, in many ways, this elliptical gives me a harder worker. My heart rate jumps up to workout level in a matter of minutes, my legs work harder, and my cardiovascular system is challenged. The arms are not quite as high as I would prefer (as I'd rather be able to get my arms at or above shoulder level), but in all, for the price this is a good piece of workout equipment. I did have a challenge in getting the column assembled, it is tricky to hook the electronics and the tension arm. But I got it done and assembled it in a couple of hours. I've used it well and do have to report that it squeaks a bit, but compared to the squeaking, creaking, and groaning the the full-size model for which I'd paid more than $1,000, this one is quiet. It is compact, light, easy to wipe off and keep clean. I recommend it, especially for "folks my age" (over 60). You'll get a good workout.

Just finished putting this together. Firstly, the packaging is horrendous, and I think to excessive.3 holes ended up not being big enough so you need some muscle and some sort of tool to open them up.Instructions were somewhat easy to follow. Took about 35 minutes to put together. Tried it out for a few minutes and seems to have a slight wobble and doesn't stay grounded on all four corners when in use.Just needed something cheap and small since the gyms remain closed. Not the worst purchase!

For the price, I think this was a very good buy. I’ve only had it three days so I will review it again, if I remember.Size- nice size for those who live in an apartment and don’t have a lot of room. I’m 5’8” and for my size, it feels a little wobbly but not so much that I can’t workout on it. It may be too wobbly for anyone over 6’, as well the studs might not be long enough for them. Pro: fits in small areas Con: good for short to average height peopleAssembly - easy enough. I did need a second pair of hands for one part and we did have to adjust the tension cord in a way that it probably wasn’t supposed to be adjusted. I am keeping the wrenches next to the elliptical because a few screws loosened as I used it. Hoped they will stop loosening after a while.Noise- really quiet except for a few clicks when the screws start loosening.

This is a great little elliptical for the price and how small it is. I have a one bedroom and it's in the front room and it doesn't take that much space.I do have one big hint for anyone getting one. Once you get it out of the box and all the parts unwrapped, take a moment and lay everything out on the correct sides. Some of the parts are for the Left Side and some are for the Right Side. I can't tell you how many times I took this thing apart because I got the sides backwards. What I ended up doing was putting all the Left Side parts on the left side and all of the Right Side parts on the right side.There was also a comment about if this works for tall people. I am here to tell you that being 6 ft 5 inches tall, I am able to use it but it took a couple of days adjusting the magnet settings and trying to figure out what a good cadence was, but once I got it, it works just fine. The pedals are a bit small for my size 15 shoes.

I'm always surprised to see such different opinions on the same product. Sometimes I think they ship from different places. In any case, I love this thing! I actually use it! Not like other equipment i buy and use to hang stuff on. Assembly took me 2 hours. I recommend reading ALL the instructions before you start...it's not a lot to read, but each step takes time. There's really tricky part, which is when connecting the tension wire. I realized right away it was gonna be a bit frustrating, so i went on youtube and found a video that explained exactly how to do it. The ONLY complain I have is that the digital monitor stopped working the 3rd day. I dont mind cause I use my smart phone for all that stuff...and I'm not a calorie counter. The apartment building i live in is super strict about noise, so this is perfect. Super silent! I think those who say it's noisy, must be assembling incorrectly. NOTE: I've only been using for two weeks.

I used this elliptical for 2 years, 5 days a week for 45 minutes a go, plus my son used it for the second year just as much. So it really got quite a bit of use. Towards the end it was making grinding noises from the brake and it would clunk as if changing gears. I tried fixing it, but it was really beyond repair. I paid $125 for that first one. I was shocked, to say the least, as it was now $250! I got it on Black Friday for $198, but still quite the jump. I gave it four stars because of the good price and durability for the first one, but it lost that one star for price shock on the second.

So I assembled this by myself which wasn't too difficult - hardware and instructions provided is pretty straight forward. If you have ever assembled Ikea Furniture you will do fineThe part that was the most difficult (if doing by yourself) is connecting the tension cable that is inside the Handlebar post to the main frame. I used whatever that was around me to be the stand-in to prop up the post while I connected the sensor wires and the cable. Looked like everything was connected according to the diagram, so I proceeded with the rest of the parts (swing bars, pedal and supports). Fast forwarded and ready to try it out, adjusting the tension made no difference. Back to the drawing board and the manual says to check the connection of the tension cable.Honestly, I will survive without the need to adjust the tension. The thought of have to undo everything in the last couple of hours was not in my future.Other than that, I am happy with this

150 lbs seems too much for it ..

There's a couple of negatives, but for the most part, this thing was an excellent purchase for what I paid for it. The assembly is a royal pain in the rear (thank God for YouTube videos), but since I only had to deal with that one time, it was fine. This is just enough motion for a short person. It has a large range of tension for only having a manual dial. I get a dang good work out with it, especially working out to the videos in the Sunny app. I don't like that there is nowhere to put my phone to watch said videos and there's nowhere to put a bottle of water. This is why I only gave four stars because those things are kind of important to have within reach. It is a pain, but I guess you get what you pay for. I will eventually upgrade, but this is perfect for me right now and it fits great in my garage with my treadmill and weights.

Ok, so full review...I personally love this elliptical. I appreciate the different tension settings and the general weight and size. As far as ellipticals go, this is great value for the money. Now, I am 5'1.5" and my partner is a cool 5'10". I can use the moving arm bars fine (I do wish there was a wider range of motion so that I can fully extend my arms). My partner, however, cannot use the moving arm bars AT ALL. She is way too tall for this machine. We have had the machine for a little over a month now and this was the final assessment. This machine is probably perfect for a person that is about 4'11". However, it is a great value for the money, convenient to have in the house, and a nice edition to my home gym. It was very easy to assemble and easily slides in and out of the corner where it is stationed. Still recommend it but if you are like 6' tall then be prepared to just use the stationary handles.

Ok, so this is not the greatest elliptical in the world, but for the price, you absolutely cannot beat it. It comes in a small, easy to lug package, took maybe 2 hours to put together. NOTE - step 2, attaching the tension cable could have had better instructions - TIP - get the cable into the hook first, then pull the metal gizmo away while holding the top cable so you can get that cable into the small seating.Anyways, the whole thing is surprisingly well made, easy to put together, sturdy (for the size), pretty silent, nice little tension thingy, even has a pulse monitor! As others have said, probably not great if you are over 6' or have huge feet - I wear size 11 (mens) and they fit snugly into the foot plates.So, I've given it 4* because it's not the greatest elliptical in the world, but I would definitely buy again, would definitely recommend - in fact I just did on facebook for others stuck indoors. It's so small and inexpensive, you can buy it, use it, store it away until next time everyone is stuck inside.Good job Sunny Fitness. This elliptical is a winner!

If you want an inexpensive elliptical that does not take up much floor space then this one fits the bill. It takes up about 20 X 29 inches of floor space. Of course, you need a larger space than this to allow for clearance. I cleared out a 4' X 4' corner of my room for this elliptical and that is enough space to not feel to confined.This elliptical was not too hard to assemble. My son helped me and it took us about 1 1/2 hours. Assembly was fairly easy and we really didn't have any difficulties. The instructions were fairly easy to follow.As far as function, I am only 5'4" but the stride length of this elliptical feels a bit short to me making it feel more like a cross between an elliptical and a stair stepper. That is okay. It doesn't bother me too much. At this price point I certainly did not expect a gym quality elliptical.I really like that the resistance is easily adjustable. There is a dial on the front of the machine and you can set it between 1 to 8.The digital display is good. It has large, easy to read numbers.Overall, for what it is this elliptical is pretty good. It does the job... I get a great workout with it. It doesn't take up much room. It was inexpensive, so if I lose interest and this becomes a dust collector I won't feel too guilty. ;)

This Elliptical is a really good, compact model. For the price it is a great product and highly recommended. The range of motion is good for all family members and the movement of the pedals and bars is smooth. However the instruction manual is not particularly clear or easy to follow, though this can be easily overcome by viewing a youtube assembly video at the same time. The rear pedals tend to give off grease flecks so I recommend a light towel or mat underneath (black just masks the flecks making it hard to see when cleaning is needed or to avoid stepping on them.) The tension adjustment could be a bit higher quality, there isn't a significant difference as the numbers change.

The good: All the features work so far. There were some reviews I saw where ppl stated the resistance did not work at all. Mine works just fine and intensifies the work out. I also can fit my phone on it to watch videos. I was skeptical about getting the machine since there are mixed reviews BUT when the price dropped to $100 I couldn't resist!!The bad: As most reviews have stated over time there is a squeaking noise. Mine started just about 3 weeks after purchase. Also, the range of motion is limited so just not as much range of motion like a Planet Fit elliptical would have. These things are not issues for me but can be for some.The weird: I can only pedal comfortably backwards. Each time I try pedaling forward the fluidity is off and it takes a toll on my knees. Again this is not a deal breaker for me and I still enjoy a great workout on the machine...maybe it was the way I assembled it. But just in case others have this experience putting it out there.

If you're spoiled on a gym caliber machine and that is your expectation for $180 stop right now.If you're like me and need something to get you through until it's OK to go back to your regular gym - read on.This is a small machine. If you're tall, long stride, or heavy, it's not your elliptical.If you expect a heavy duty workout, it's not your elliptical.Regarding assembly, if you don't know which end of a screwdriver to hold, it's not your elliptical.The instructions are clear. Take your time and you'll do fine. I am quite mechanically inclined so it was a straightforward job for me. When attaching the handlebar post you will need three hands. I would recommend using the stamped out metal wrenches, they'll limit the amount of torque applied. Otherwise, I feel it would be easy to strip or even shear off bolts with a regular wrench. It's going to feel like you'll break it when installing the meter so be careful.Time will tell how durable it is but if it gets me past the pandemic I'll feel like I got full value.The pulse meter is hit or miss but I expected as much.Seriously, the only complaint I have is that the cheapo batteries included only lasted a week. Batteries WERE included so maybe I should shut up.

I've only owned this elliptical for @ a month. This is the first elliptical I've owned and - so far - it's met expectations. I am a 60 yr old woman - not handy - but put it together myself. It took me a few days to do it though. Were it not for the assembly of the tension cord in the main shaft of the machine, I would have had it assembled in an afternoon. I had to keep fumbling with the cord until it fit - tough to do without help.The only other issue is the short stride. I am only 5'1" and it seems a bit short in the stride even for me.Having said all of that, I am nevertheless very pleased with the purchase. I needed something to help keep the weight down in the winter when I am not able to take walks and this seems to do the trick. It gives me more of a workout than simply walking.Also, it is very quiet. I've read the reviews that said it was not quiet, but I think they may have assembled the foot peddles wrong. I did too at first and it was noisy. All I know is that it is very quiet now.I also needed to tightened up some of the bolts after @ 20 miles - but it was no big deal since there really aren't that many bolts to tighten. So far, I've only had to tighten them once. I now have @ 80 miles on the machine and everything is still tight.

I've been using this elliptical (almost) daily for the past two months – approximately 50 minutes each session – and I honestly love it! It's compact and efficient, perfect for low or high intensity workouts.The machine does get quite squeaky so keep the tools nearby for tightening. I also recommend picking up a can of WD40 or another lubricant, I add a bit to my machine every 20 days or so.Set up was annoying, two people would be super helpful.It's certainly not the same quality as the machines at the gym but given our work-from-home environments, this machine is perfect to burn those extra calories while watching tv.
