Does what it says on the tin! For a new rower it is very good for the moneys paid. Went together very well and it was extremely well packaged. Delivered with in 24 hours! My husband uses the rower on a high tension and it gives him a good work out, I have a bad back but find on a lower tension I can manage it well as the sitting position keeps my back straight. We read the reviews for this rower which is why we went for this model and would recommend this model too. As a side note, my husband is 5’10’ and I am 5’3’. We have had two rowers before both second hand so thought it was about time we bought new.

I was waiting for this rowing machine till it's back on stock after the lockdown and I'm glad I did. All the positive reviews are correct. Easy to put together, easy to move around the house, easy to fold and put to the corner. Computer good enough to record your daily achievement. I think I have quite strong arms from kayaking, but doing 6miles on this machine every evening on tension number 8 is enough for me at the moment. I'm changing it to number 10 for the last mile. It will take me many months to say that highest tension settings is too easy for me. My 6 and 9 years old kids like to use the machine too, they are just sad the computer is not able to read their achievement as they are too short to reach the sensor. I believe it's great machine for great low price!

Product arrived next day - far earlier than predicted. Took 2 of us to put it together -instructions a little unclear in places. That said, the machine is great. Really sturdy and well made. Read some reviews that other machines were only good for shorter people. Well, I am female and 5'8" and my partner is 5' 10'' and it's fine for us. It would suit people over 6' tall. I am 56 years old and row 5km three or four times per week on a 5 setting with the radio and a fan on and a bottle of water by my side and it provides a really thorough workout. Five stars!

Took me about 30 mins on my own.The rower is decent for the price - if you’re looking for something to get you started this is very good. For me there is a lot of resistance so will serve me well for a long time, my husband finds it a bit easier but works well on longer slogs. I’d have to be one a serious rowing fanatic to want to upgrade - great for home gym. I wanted an alternative to running.Folds away easily.I am 6ft 1 and have no problem using it in contrast with another reviewer.Things to improve...Pedals whack the floor so make sure you have protection underneath. My 4mm mat is not going to last long under this so I need to upgrade. Noticeable wear after two uses so get something set up so you don’t have to worry about damage to your floor.The pedals are a bit awkward compared to a professional gym version but you get used to it pretty quick.

I bought this to use for exercise during the CoVid lockdown. It's a good quality construction and easy to put together (although the diagram wasn't good enough to show clearly how to fit the little detent bracket). I've found it easy to use either for a bit of gentle exercise or for a good workout. The LCD panel is a bit basic but adequate (unless you're a fitness nerd). It takes a minute to fold up if storage space is an issue but you have to make sure that the wiring loom for the sensor is routed away from the pivot to avoid damage.A few tips on good techniques to use when rowing would have been useful in the instruction booket.
